The EQ-i:S measures emotional intelligence when a more detailed assessment is not possible or necessary. It is often used for screening purposes, to monitor changes over time.

The EQ-i:S™ provides scores for the same 5 scales as the original EQ-I, however it does not break down to the subscale level.
