Revised Behavior Problem Checklist
The RBPC is a revision of the Behavior Problem Checklist that appeared in 1977. It comprises of one version to be completed by parents. It has 89 items that are rated on a 3-point scale with responses: not a problem, mild problem, severe problem.
The items of the RPBC are scored on 6 scales derived from factor analysis in clinical samples which are labeled
-Conduct Disorder
-Socialized Aggression
-Attention Problems-Immaturity
-Anxiety-Withdrawal
-Psychotic Behavior
-Motor Tension Excess
Correlations with behavioral observations, peer nominations and other rating scales demonstrated convergent and discriminant validity. Both teacher and parent ratings of all scales were significantly different between normal and clinical children.
